The Superlovers
Two years ago Devis and Fabio decide to go back and work on some previously cast aside ideas, to create a project of unpublished pieces. Having signed up Francesco and Mattia to complete the band, they move to the rehearsal room to arrange the ten tracks of their first self-produced album called ON THE ROAD TO YOU. A journey through the torments and pleasure of love with romantic ballads like “I miss you” and “Maxine” intermingling with edgy guitar sounds that go straight to your soul like “Orange game” and “Far away form you”. It is no coincidence that the songs are in English: the aim is to pursue the dream of going beyond Italian recording boundaries and to find consensus also abroad.
Due anni fa Devis e Fabio condividono il desiderio di scongelare alcune idee nel cassetto per dare vita ad un progetto di brani inediti. Ingaggiati Francesco e Mattia per completare la band si chiudono in sala prove per arrangiare quelle che oggi sono le dieci tracce del loro primo album autoprodotto dal titolo ON THE ROAD TO YOU. Un viaggio attraverso le passioni e i tormenti dell’amore con ballate romantiche introverse come “I miss you” e “Maxine” e chitarre nervose che ti arrivano dritte allo stomaco come “Orange game” e “Far away from you”. Non casuale la scelta di cantare in inglese: l’obiettivo รจ quello di inseguire il sogno di uscire dai confini discografici dell’Italia e cercare un consenso e una risposta anche all’estero.
